Alex has recently returned to the mainland UK from the Channel Islands, where he lived and worked for almost two years. There, working as an estate worker he was able to live and work on a small, remote island three miles off the coast of Guernsey. Prior to this Alex had been working in private practice in Essex with an established landscape architects.
There he gained experience in the planning process, detailed planting schemes, graphic design and open space strategy documentation. Since joining terra firma consultancy in March 2016 Alex has worked on various types of projects including detailed construction drawings, a LVIA and detailed planting plans.
He will also take on the role of coordinating the CPD for the practice and organising internal seminars. Alex hopes to start on the Pathway to Chartership very soon.
