Involvement with the British Airways i360…

terra firma are currently working with Brighton and Hove City Council on the proposals for the Lower Esplanade to both the west and east of the British Airways i360 project on Brighton seafront to restore the working area for the construction of the ‘vertical pier’ aligned between Regency Square and the derelict West Pier.… Read the rest

We have recently been looking at our graphic presentation styles and have been putting together a compilation of the range that, as a team, we are able to offer in order that we can use this to as a form of ’catalogue’ to more concisely ascertain the level of presentation appropriate to particular projects, particularly in the initial concept and planning stages, where a more sketchy, hand drawn approach is often more well-received.… Read the rest

The terra firma Consultancy is 30 years old this Friday May 1st (by Lionel)

It has been a long and eventful haul from its founding in Portsmouth in 1985 but in that 30 years, the firm’s work in landscape architecture has only just fallen short of working in 30 countries (29 to be precise) but we have carried out something in the region of 2000 projects and have a current personnel of 30 spread between 4 offices in Petersfield, London, Vilnius and Dubai.… Read the rest
