The foundation underpinning the work of the landscape profession is undoubtedly the design of Parks and Gardens and this can often involve doing so in the context of historic precedent, if not actually having to address it directly as part of a heritage project. This mixed sector continues to throw up a particularly wide variety of creative challenges for the practice.
