Terra Firma Leisure and Tourism Projects

The landscape within which we live, whether communal or only privately accessible, is of prime importance to all of us and one of the important areas where the role of the landscape architect can make a big difference. Whenever possible, full consultation with end users from the outset is paramount to the success of such schemes.

Terra Firma work across the board for the full spectrum of clients whether housing developers, inner city councils, parish councils, care communities or simply individuals and groups.

Domeikava Church Park,
Kaunas and Lake Garden Project,  Lithuania

One of two Lithuanian projects undertaken by Terra Firma's Ramune Padleckyte-Sanderson in winter 2008/ 2009 Domeikava Church Park project involved plans for the transformation of the bare surroundings to a newly built Church with provision of some parkland and gardens improving setting and access while providing a place of contemplation and variety of openess and enclosure.

The other project being a private garden in picturesque lakeside, where the principles of classic garden design where merged with natural Lithuanian landscape to create a complex garden scheme with a strong sense of place.
